FAUN is looking for engaging speakers for our upcoming meetings. Groups or individual speakers are welcome to present on a variety of topics in the field of GIS. Previous topics have ranged from thought provoking integration techniques to creative problem solving. If you or your organization are interested in speaking at an upcoming meeting, please fill out the interest form. You do not have to become a member to present!

Join our Leadership Team

President- Conduct all meetings, Develop agenda for meetings, Schedule speakers and/or presentations for meetings, Chair Executive Committee
President-elect- Assist President with his/her duties, Reserve meeting site, Organize the set-up of the meeting site, Co-Chair Executive Committee
Treasurer- Collect dues from members, Coordinate invoicing, Maintain checking account, Pay all bills, Chair Finance Committee
Communications Officer- Take minutes for each meeting, Distribute minutes to all members, Coordinate the development of a web page, Distribute newsletter, Chair Communication Committee
Membership Officer- Update and maintain database of current membership, Update and maintain other databases as needed (i.e. training rosters and “guru” lists), Coordinate with Communications Officer to provide member services, Promote our organization, Chair Membership Committee
We are looking for new officers to join our FAUN team in 2026. Per our charter, FAUN will be guided by an Executive Committee comprised of a president, president-elect, treasurer, communications officer, and a membership officer. The officers will be elected by the members and will hold office for a term of one year beginning on the first day of the membership year. For the purposes of continuity in leadership, the president-elect will become president the following year. The other officers will be elected on an annual basis.
